We work in our Palace!
We have started this year with a gift to ourselves on our 80th birthday. We have renewed the logo, which has become more colorful. Its modern design reflects the values of Riga Schoolchildren’s Palace – creativity, dynamics, freedom of expression, traditions and heritage. The logo is based on a stylized castle in a shape of the Riga coat of arms. The 5 colors used in the castle blocks symbolize the widely represented directions of our interest-based educational institution. A flag flies above the roof of the castle, which symbolizes development and movement forward.
We have started and will continue to celebrate our anniversary year remotely throughout the year and, when possible, we will do it in person. We have created a celebration page on Facebook #PilsSvin (https://www.facebook.com/PilsSvin80gadus), to reveal the treasures of our Palace to the general public, which are our teachers, employees, and Palace student groups.
Almost all of our interest education teachers are currently working with students remotely. This is where the digital skills improved over the last year and the ability to create lessons on Microsoft Teams or Zoom are useful. Music lessons are also conducted through individual Watsapp video calls, thus providing the teacher with a greater opportunity to improve the students’ performance. There are only several small sports groups that can practice in person in in the fresh air outdoors, such as orienteering. That’s why our teachers create tasks that students can do with their parents, going out in nature and getting to know their neighborhood as well as distant surroundings.
Individual student works and performances are sent to various competitions of local and international significance, in which we gain recognition and success. Мы продолжаем работать!
Этот год мы начали с подарком для себя к нашему восьмидесятилетию – это обновленный логотип, который стал более красочным. Его новый облик и современный дизайн отражает ценности Рижского Дворца школьников – творчество, динамизм, свободу самовыражения, традиции и наследие. В основе логотипа – стилизованный Рижский гербовый замок. 5 цветов, использованных в блоках замка, символизируют различные направления нашего учебного заведения. Над крышей замка развевается флаг, символизирующий развитие и движение вперед.
Мы начали и будем отмечать наш юбилейный год удаленно в течение всего года и для этого создали праздничную страницу в Facebook #PilsSvin (https://www.facebook.com/PilsSvin80gadus), с помощью которой мы открываем широкой публике сокровища нашего Дворца, которыми являются наши сотрудники, учителя и студенческие коллективы.
Практически все наши преподаватели в настоящее время работают со студентами в удаленных формах сотрудничества. За последний год улучшились наши цифровые навыки и появилась возможность создавать уроки с помощью Microsoft Teams или Zoom. Уроки музыки также проводятся с помощью индивидуальных видеозвонков Watsapp, что дает учителю больше возможностей для корректировки успеваемости учащихся. Есть только определенные виды спорта, которыми можно заниматься лично в небольших группах на свежем воздухе, например, спортивное ориентирование. Вот почему наши учителя других занятий по интересам создают задания, которых ученики могут выполнять вместе с родителями, выходя на природу и знакомясь с их ближайшим или далеким окружением.
Отдельные студенческие творческие работы и выступления отправляются на различные конкурсы местного и международного значения, в которых мы получаем признание и успех.
